What are we looking for?
We’re looking for an early-career content professional with approximately 1 year of experience who’s ready for more ownership.
You’ve likely worked in a structured marketing environment, agency, in-house team, or scale-up where briefs, deadlines and quality matter. You’re confident writing across formats, understand how content supports commercial outcomes, and are ready to take on more responsibility with support rather than supervision.
This isn’t a graduate trainee role. It’s for someone who has learned the fundamentals and now wants to consolidate their craft, contribute meaningfully to cross-functional work, and grow within a collaborative, ambitious team.
You’ll be part of a marketing team of 7 people and work closely with colleagues across the organisation - many of whom are not marketing specialists — helping shape ideas into clear, structured and impactful content.
What you will be doing
- Writing blogs, thought leadership and long-form content
- Developing case studies and impact stories
- Creating sales and pitch materials (presentations, one-pagers, brochures)
- Drafting website and campaign copy
- Interviewing stakeholders and turning conversations into structured content
- Editing and refining content for clarity, tone and consistency
- Working within brand guidelines and messaging frameworks
- Translating complex programmes into accessible, compelling narratives
- Supporting the creation of clear creative briefs
- Managing your own workload across multiple briefs and deadlines
- Collaborating closely with the Content & Design Assistant to bring content to life
You’ll be expected to take briefs, ask intelligent questions, and steadily reduce the amount of revision needed as you grow into the role.
What we need from you
1. Around 1+ year’s experience in a marketing or content role
You’ve worked in a structured environment with briefs, deadlines and defined processes (not solely academic projects).
2. Strong writing and editing skills across formats
You can write clearly and confidently - from short-form posts to structured long-form pieces always with an outcome in mind.
3. Experience creating marketing assets
Confident producing social graphics, simple campaign visuals, slides or supporting materials using tools such as Canva, Adobe or similar.
4. Able to structure longer content clearly and commercially
You can turn information into well-organised, purposeful content.
5. Comfortable working with colleagues to draw out key messages
You ask the right questions and translate conversations into usable marketing outputs.
6. Organised and calm when juggling deadlines
Able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
7. Collaborative and proactive approach
Comfortable using Google Workspace and project tools like Asana (or similar) and keen to improve quickly and take ownership.
Please tell us if you have
- Experience writing case studies or customer stories
- Experience creating sales or pitch materials
- Experience using Webflow or a similar CMS
- Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment
- Examples of long-form content you’ve authored
- Experience interviewing stakeholders and shaping their input into written pieces
- Familiarity with structured marketing workflows or content planning tools
You don’t need to know everything but you do need to want to improve quickly and take responsibility for your work.
