What are we looking for?
We’re looking for an early-career content professional with approximately 1 year of experience who’s ready for more ownership.
You’ve likely worked in a structured marketing environment (agency, in-house team, or scale-up) where briefs, deadlines and quality matter. You’re confident creating content across formats, understand how content supports commercial outcomes, and are ready to take on more responsibility with support rather than supervision.
This isn’t a graduate trainee role. It’s for someone who has learned the fundamentals and now wants to consolidate their craft, contribute meaningfully to cross-functional work, and grow within a collaborative, ambitious team — with a particular emphasis on design, photography and content production.
You’ll be part of a marketing team of 7 people and work closely with colleagues across the organisation - many of whom are not marketing specialists — helping shape ideas into clear, structured and impactful content.
What you will be doing
- Designing digital content for social, web and campaigns
- Creating visually strong sales and presentation materials
- Capturing photography at events and on-site
- Supporting and managing filming of blogs, interviews and events
- Editing and repurposing video content for digital channels
- Writing captions, scripts and supporting copy
- Working within brand guidelines and visual systems
- Translating complex programmes into clear, compelling creative outputs
- Supporting the creation of clear creative briefs
- Managing your own workload across multiple briefs and deadlines
- Collaborating closely with the Marketing Assistant to align messaging and visuals
You’ll be expected to take briefs, ask intelligent questions, and steadily reduce the amount of revision needed as you grow into the role.
What we need from you
1. Around 1+ year’s experience in a marketing, content or design role
In a structured environment with briefs, deadlines and delivery (not just academic projects).
2. Experience creating visual content
You’ve captured and edited photography and supported or edited short-form video (interviews, events, social clips, blogs).
3. Strong hands-on ability with design tools
Confident using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or similar to produce polished assets independently.
4. Able to turn ideas into finished creative work
Comfortable working with colleagues to translate rough ideas into clear, effective content.
5. Confident writing short-form copy
Captions, scripts, summaries — clean, sharp and on-brand.
6. Organised and calm under pressure
Able to juggle multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
7. Collaborative and proactive approach
Comfortable working cross-functionally; familiar with Google Workspace and project tools like Asana (or similar). Keen to improve quickly and take ownership.
Please tell us if you have
- Experience using Webflow or a similar CMS
- Experience filming and editing interviews or event content
- Experience creating branded templates or visual systems
- Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment
- Experience managing content production schedules
- Familiarity with structured marketing workflows or content planning tools
You don’t need to know everything but you do need to want to improve quickly and take responsibility for your work.
