Davie Sneddon, Sales Director, Sales Geek - With over 25 years of experience in sales, management, and leadership, Davie is passionate about transforming how sales are perceived, focusing on building lasting relationships and helping businesses grow and succeed. His unique value proposition lies in his ability to combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of sales strategies across a range of industries. Davie experts at helping create tailored sales pitches that highlight a business's unique strengths and build strong, lasting client relationships.He is open to providing insights on any aspect of business commercials, from sales processes to leadership and growth strategies.

Jo Nisbet & Erin Perrie, Harper Macleod - Harper Macleod are a market-leading, full-service law firm, and one of the most active in the Scottish corporate market. Working with businesses from day one of their journey they advise on funding, restructures, shareholder agreements, share options, commercial contracts, employment and intellectual property. There investment team has completed over 195 deals in the last 3 years and are prominent advisers to companies in the technology sector with over half over investment work being in the tech sector. Jo Nisbet is a corporate partner within the team. She brings over 15 years of experience working with start-ups and scale-ups businesses and is independently recognised in Chambers and in Legal 500. Jo is assisted by Erin Perrie. Erin has been with the team for 2 years and already has extensive experience in advising companies at all stages of their life cycle from start up to exit.

Keri Ritchie, Chartered Accountant, Henderson Loggie LLP - Keri is a Chartered Accountant in the management team of the Assurance and Business Solutions department at Henderson Loggie LLP. They oversee the provision of various accounting services to clients over a wide range of sectors, from basic bookkeeping and VAT returns to preparation of management accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts and statutory accounts. With experience working with owner-managed businesses, Keri offers valuable advice and support on accounting issues, software setup, and general queries for new startups

Michael Heins, Co-Founder, More Yum Studio [Virtual] - Michael is Co-Founder at More Yum, a design studio connecting brand, product and impact to drive positive change. Over the last seven years More Yum have worked with startups, scale ups and large organisations in the UK, Europe, the US and Australia. Clients include the BBC, Meta, FreeAgent, Turing Fest, Beer52, Dayshape and many more. Michael is a guest lecturer and speaker giving talks and running workshops at universities, art colleges and business schools in Scotland, Australia and the US.

Michael and the team at More Yum work with founders and leaders on their trickiest design challenges, from high-level questions around market positioning, brand differentiation and go to market, to nitty-gritty details like specific UX challenges, fundraising decks or onboarding flows. He is a strong believer that the emotional impact of a product is as important as the functional one, and that a good brand is the big differentiator in an ever-crowded market.

Alan Robertson, Partner, Maven Capital Partners - Alan Robertson is a Partner at Maven Capital Partners, based in Edinburgh. Maven is a leading private equity and venture capital firm, head-quartered in Scotland. They partner with ambitious, entrepreneurial management teams to accelerate growth. Alan is responsible for sourcing and executing new equity investments. He has a particular focus on growth and development capital investments in high growth disruptive businesses. Following an investment, Alan works with investee management teams to support on strategy and growth and holds a number of board seats.

Who is this for?

This event is designed for Central Scotland founders and Techscaler members seeking personalized 1:1 expert advice on legal, accounting, product development, and sales, or help with challenges in their startup journey. It’s also a chance to learn more about the Techscaler program and the various education courses we offer.

These sessions are open to all founders accross the Central Scotland region, no matter what stage of their startup journey they're on.

Office hours will take place at the CodeBase Stirling Hub located at 8 -10 Corn Exchage Road, Stirling, FK8 2HX.

We ask that you only book appointments with the experts you think are most relevant to you and your business. We're keen to make sure this opportunity is available to all, so please do not book additional slots unless you are actively seeking support in that area and plan to attend.

If you can no longer attend your session please cancel your slot so that we can reassign it to someone else.
