About this event

Curious about breaking the Asia-Pacific market? Keen for more information about expanding your business? Or would you simply like to know more about the business landscape in the Asia-Pacific region?

Join CodeBase in partnership with Intralink, IP Hatch, City of Glasgow College and Barclays Eagle Labs for our Approaching the Asia-Pacific Market event at the Engine Room, Windmillcroft Building at Barclays Campus in Glasgow.

This event aims to enhance market access to the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region by connecting UK tech startups and scaleups with key APAC organisations, fostering partnerships, and providing insights into market entry strategies.

Explore the challenges and differences within the APAC market, meet businesses who can share their experiences, and network with other companies in a similar stage as yours.

What can I expect?

Explore Partnerships: We’re bringing together UK tech companies and major APAC corporations to explore potential collaborations, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and strategic partnerships.

Gain Market Insights: Watch detailed presentations from Intralink and IP Hatch, and engage in our panel discussion with Shimizu Corporation delegates to explore market entry strategies, cultural nuances, and sector-specific opportunities in the APAC region.

Networking and Engagement: Have direct engagement with APAC representatives to build relationships, understand mutual needs, and pave the way for future business ventures

Financial Support and Opportunities: Gain knowledge on financial products, services, and support available from major APAC financial institutions, highlighting how to engage with these resources effectively

Who will be there?

This event is open to all - in particular if you’re looking to expand into Asia and at scale-up level; but we also welcome tech founders, those in deep tech or with a digital product, corporates or anyone who is part of the wider business community.

We are partnering with City of Glasgow College, IP Hatch and Intralink who will be there delivering information, alongside our guest speakers.
