Plus, you’ll get to meet other creatives! As freelancers, we often miss out on office parties, so here is an opportunity to mingle and make meaningful connections with new friends in the industry.
Hosted and generously sponsored by CodeBase, we’ll provide a free drink (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic), followed by a paid bar and live entertainment for those who wish to party through the night.
This year we are partnering with Intercultural Youth Scotland to help bring some amazing live entertainment to our Summer Party.

About Intercultural Youth Scotland
Intercultural Youth Scotland (IYS) is Scotland’s leading charity for Black and People of Colour (BPoC) youth.
We are a community, a service and a voice for BPoC young people, providing a safe space and a place to nurture their talents. We are experts on the challenges facing our community, based on our extensive years of youth work experience, our direct connection with young people and our own personal experiences. Our services cover a wide range from Youth Work, Education, Employability, Advocacy and Mental health
How are we making sure this event is accessible?
CodeBase Edinburgh's Events Space is fully accessible to wheelchair users via the main entrance on Castle Terrace (37a Castle Terrace, Edinburgh EH1 2EL).
CodeBase is situated in the heart of Edinburgh city which means there are several ways you can reach the venue. It is a 4-minute walk from the closest bus stop on Lothian Road and a 10-minute walk from the West End tram stop.
There is also an NCP car park situated right in front of the venue on Castle Terrace.
There is level access into the venue from Castle Terrace, with automatic double doors upon entering, and an accessible toilet inside the building. There is a lowered desk at reception. The entrance has "CodeBase" written in large type across the automatic doors.
