Come along to CodeBase at the heart of Edinburgh's tech scene for a social.
This month's format will be more of an "AMA" - Ask me anything - with Cloud developers and service managers with over 3 years in industry.
Bring any Cloud-related question for our panel of experienced engineers - from decision-making to self-hosting, techniques and trade-offs, technologies to best practices, the floor is open to questions!
Our panel:
* Nick - Nick is a CNCF and OpenUK Ambassador, currently employed as Head of Cloud Native and Platform Engineering at EscherCloudAI, where he's helping to build a next-generation managed Kubernetes service tailored for AI workloads backed by a sustainable approach to running infrastructure. He's also a serial meetup organiser, including Cloud Native and Kubernetes Edinburgh, CNK Manchester, as well as larger events such as Kubernetes Community Days UK. He's passionate about new technology, but simultaneously romantic about the old with a penchant for decrepit Silicon Graphics and Sun Microsystems hardware.
* Will - Senior engineer and team lead at OVO Home Services. Designer of platform tooling enabling teams to self manage infrastructure and service deployments. Promoter of 12 factor apps, Infrastructure as Code and GitOps. Experienced developer of apps running on AWS, Azure and GCP. Professional Kubernetes enthusiast and homelabber.
* Kamil - Senior Cloud Engineer - Networking. With a background in networking and 8 years in cloud engineering, Kamil has seen the transition from DC (Data Centre) to SDN (Software Defined Networking) based practices, with core expertise in VMWare/NSX, as well as building automation using Ansible and Terraform as key tools.

After the CodeBase event, we'll be able to continue the socialising and networking at the Blue Blazer pub just up the road.
