Marketing Meetup: ‘How to make your website work for you,’ With Lara Ehmler from Creative Globe Studio.

Our Marketing Meetups are insightful in-person meetups, open to all marketers, to share your experiences and learn from others.

On the 2nd of May, we will be joined by Lara Ehmler from Creative Globe Studio. For ‘How to make your website work for you.’ Lara will expertly take you through website design tips and navigation elements. From this session, you will be able to build on the basic principles of SEO and learn developing skills to have more agency over your website.

Whether you're a marketing-one-person-band in a startup, a marketing student, a remote-working marketer at a large company, or manage a marketing team, come along you are all welcome!

What is it?

Our marketing meetup has been created to share your marketing ideas, best practice and woes! We meet every other Tuesday during lunchtime so that it is as accessible as possible.

Are you new to marketing and don’t know where to start? Have you been asked to pick up marketing responsibilities as part of your day-to-day role? Would you like to discuss the challenges of Google Analytics changes and algorithm updates?

When is it? Where is it?

12:00-13:00 in The Provost's Lounge, our first-floor cosy event space here at CodeBase Stirling.

Registration

We ask everyone to sign up individually so we can have an estimate of how many people want to attend. We will also check-in each person on Eventbrite as they join the event so make sure you've signed up to the event in order to attend! Registering each person individually also allows us to know of any accessibility requirements in advance so we can do our best to accommodate them.

FAQs

Do I need to sign-up everyone on my team who wants to attend?- Yes please! We ask everyone to sign up with their first name, last name, company name and an email address. We will also check in everyone via the Eventbrite app as they come in.

We also encourage everyone to sign up individually so we know of any accessibility requirements in advance.

How long does the event last?- The event last for one hour between 12:00 and 13:00.

Will food be served during the event?- Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served. Feel free to bring your lunch with you if you'd like!

Is the event space accessible?- Yes, all of our events spaces are accessible. If there's anything we can do to make the event more accessible for you or if you're a wheelchair user, please email stirling@thisiscodebase.com ahead of the event.
