In the last year, we've grown our events schedule to the point where we have more in house tech events than anywhere else in Edinburgh. We've got regular meetups of EdinburghJS, Docker Edinburgh, AdWords, PreWired, Startup Grind and are looking forward to hosting our first Edinburgh UX meetup soon. We also host two coffee mornings, CodeBase Open Coffee Morning and Creative Circles, for those who prefer caffeine with their chatting.
One thing we've felt missing for a while now is a regular night where startups can get together in a pub without the focus on talks, pitches or networking. A get together where you can truly unwind with the rest of the Edinburgh tech community. For that reason, we've created The Commons.
The first date will be July the 9th, at No.8 Lister Square, smack bang in the middle of the Quartermile. Things will kick off at 6pm, and the first 40 people through the door getting two free drinks tokens, generously sponsored by Turing Festival.
