What is it?
This is an informal get-together and everyone is welcome - whether you’re a startup founder, working in tech or just curious. For this social, we’ll be hanging out in the Techscaler Hub in Inverness and enjoying chats and some games over pizza and drinks.
We’re planning to play a variety of games, including Scrawl - a virtual drawing game that can go very wrong! So don’t worry you don’t need to be able to draw.
You can drop in and leave early, there’s no requirement to stay for the whole time. At every event, we always have a mix of people who have been before and new people, so if it’s your first time you’ll get a warm welcome!
What can I expect?
An informal evening of chats with others involved in, and interested in, tech. We’ll be providing some drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and pizza.
We’re planning on playing Scrawl - a fun drawing game.
Where and when is this taking place?
The event will take place at the Techscaler Hub at Wasps Inverness Creative Academy, Midmills Building, Stephens St, Inverness, IV2 3JP on 21st March from 5:30 to 8pm.
Who will be there?
All are welcome to join us! You’ll meet members of the local tech community, the wider business community and those who are interested in tech. You don’t need to be working in technology or have tech experience to come along. We have a friendly bunch of people in our community so if you’ve not been to one of our events before you’ll be given a very warm welcome!
Mark Sutherland Head of Highlands & Islands Regional Engagement, Norette Ferns Highlands & Islands Community Manager and Alice Prentice Highlands & Islands Event Support will be there from CodeBase and look forward to seeing you.
