What is it?
An online speed networking event where you can get to know others in the tech community across Scotland. We’ll have some questions ready for you to get the conversations going and keep things moving so you get the chance to speak to as many people as possible.
The session is hosted by the CodeBase team in Highlands and Islands but is open to everyone!
What can I expect?
A friendly and welcoming virtual speed networking session with members of the tech community across the country. We’ll have some very quick introductions and then break into pairs/small groups for some conversation.
Where and when is this taking place?
This event will be taking place on Zoom on 25th April from 12:30 to 1:30pm.
Please join the same Zoom link via the “Online Event Page”. We will also send you email reminders and a calendar invite.
You can join Zoom from a desktop, laptop or mobile device and we recommend you to download the latest version of the app before joining: https://zoom.us/download.
Who will be there?
Members of the tech community from across Scotland, as well as some of the CodeBase team. The session will be run by Norette Ferns, Highlands & Islands Community Manager supported by Alice Prentice, Highlands & Islands Events Support.
Registration
We ask everyone to sign up individually, so we know how many people want to attend and so we can tailor the session depending on numbers. Please cancel your ticket if you are no longer able to attend.
We will also check-in each person on Eventbrite as they join the event so make sure you've signed up to the event in order to attend!
We also encourage everyone to sign up individually so we know of any accessibility requirements in advance.
You will receive an email reminder prior to the event starting: it includes the link to join the event.
At any point, you can also access the link to join via the dedicated Eventbrite Online Page linked to your ticket.
If you can no longer make it, please email events.Hi@thisiscodebase.com to let us know or cancel your ticket so someone else can join.
