About this event
Are you a non-technical founder? Do you have an idea to create a product that could be game changing but aren't sure how to build it? Do you have lots of questions about accessing the tech sector in Scotland but find it difficult to know where to start?
If you have answered yes to any of the above questions, please join the CodeBase team on the 15th February at our event that aims to provide information about pathways into tech.
What is the event?
The event will take the structure of a relaxed discussion, where guests can hear from speakers from a variety of backgrounds. Speakers (details TBC) will share their journey into business and tech with an opportunity for the audience to ask questions thereafter.
We will be joined by Christine Scott, founder of Neoni, who will be leading the discussion and sharing perspectives.
Who is the event for?
We are interested in reaching a wide audience of community members. This event is for you if you consider yourself to be a non-technical founder, if you have ideas to start your own business within the tech sector but aren't sure how to gain access or acquire information on where to begin, and if you are looking to change career and would like a broad overview of opportunities in Scotland's tech sector.
We are particularly interested in reaching attendees who come from a variety of professional backgrounds, and for those who are currently experiencing barriers in their professional progression.
During the event, guests will be provided with some light refreshments. Please let the Glasgow events team know when you sign up if you have any dietary requirements.
