About this event

Building connections is vital if you’re looking to build your business and having a community of like-minded people is essential, especially if you are a solo or small co-founding team starting up or looking to scale.

AccelerateHER, Techscaler by CodeBase and Elevator are delighted to be joining forces for this informal meet-up event for female and non-binary founders across Dundee and Tayside. This is a chance to meet other like-minded women, build your contacts and share your knowledge.

We are also delighted to be joined by Inez Hogarth of Data Understood, who will share her story of starting and growing a business– and the challenges and opportunities she encountered along the way.

Meet Your Guest Speaker:
Inez Hogarth of Data Understood

Inez co-founded Data Understood based on a need she was seeing in many organisations she had worked with - their inability to see and use their data easily. Often the perceived complexity of data prevents organisations from using their data and their internal resources effectively.

Her passion is in helping our customers see their data in a simple way, giving them the tools to understand it, and showing them how they can best act upon data and its insights to achieve their strategic goals.

Meet Your Hosts:

Elevator is Scotland’s leading private sector organisation dedicated to supporting the entrepreneurs, inventors, disruptors, game changers and business leaders of today and tomorrow. As social enterprise, we work to support entrepreneurship and employability across Scotland. Our mission is to recycle wealth back into the communities we support.

AccelerateHER exists to accelerate the growth and success of female and non-binary founders, across the UK. The organisation does this through bootcamps, learning and networking events, the AccelerateHER Awards, partnership working, mentoring, profile raising, and through sister organisation Investing Women Angels.

Techscaler is a programme, run by CodeBase, that creates, develops, and scales startups by connecting founders with experts, teaching world-class playbooks, and hosting spaces for fellow founders to work and hang out. By working together – AccelerateHERxTechscaler by CodeBase provides scalable business with the skills, support, and platform to grow.
