About this event

April Dunford, positioning expert, said it best: “It’s always better to be a little boring than completely baffling”.

Unfortunately, far too many startups fail due to weak positioning, a core part of marketing. Due to being so deep in the weeds of their business, founders can struggle to communicate their value proposition in a way that is meaningful to their customers, blocking them from acquiring new customers and building loyalty.

In order to be successful, startups need to have a clear value proposition to answer the question “Why would someone be willing to buy this?” A strong value proposition clearly explains your product's benefits, as well as reasons why people should buy from you instead of from your competitors or why they should move away from how they currently tackle the problem.

By having a clear and understandable value proposition, startups are strengthening the foundation of all future sales and marketing efforts, which can be make or break for most early stage companies.
