Living Laboratory Healthcare Innovation Conference

Join the University of Glasgow’s Living Laboratory for Precision Medicine at its Healthcare Innovation Conference. The event will bring together a mixture of delegates from across academia, industry, and healthcare to explore the exciting possibilities and current challenges of healthcare innovations.

The conference will illustrate the transformative triple helix approach embraced by the Living Laboratory and explore the thriving healthcare innovation landscape within the Glasgow Riverside Innovation District. Excitingly, we will unveil the Digital Health Validation Lab, a new innovation asset to accelerate market access for digital health technologies.

There will also be opportunity to engage in collaborative sessions with the Living Laboratory, networking and entrepreneur workshops, all designed to ignite innovation and nurture groundbreaking ideas to accelerate innovation into healthcare and improve patient outcomes.

The Living Laboratory for Precision Medicine

The University of Glasgow-led Living Laboratory for Precision Medicine, with funding from the UKRI Strength in Places Fund, is an internationally leading programme focused on translating cutting-edge science and healthcare innovation into a real-world clinical setting. Hosted by the Clinical Innovation Zone at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, and located within the Glasgow Riverside Innovation District, the Living Laboratory expands upon Glasgow’s award-winning precision medicine industry cluster.

Offering a vibrant and supportive ecosystem that facilitates a ‘triple helix’ partnership between academia, industry and the NHS, the Living Laboratory enhances open innovation and enables the co-development of ideas and real-world testing of innovations in state-of-the-art facilities to actively accelerate their routine clinical use.
