About this event
What is it?
Our AccelerateHER + Techscaler Meetup will be a space where you can come together, hear inspiring stories from fellow women and non-binary founders, and connect for ongoing peer-support. The Aberdeen event is hosted by AccelerateHER and Techscaler, as part of their nation-wide series of dedicated meetups helping peer-support building activity to grow.
What can I expect?
Whether you’re working on a fledgling idea for a startup or already in the thick of scaling your tech enterprise, having a community of people to connect with, share knowledge with, and generally find support amongst is invaluable. For women and non-binary folk in the tech startup world this is even more vital - ensuring you have a network to turn to as you hit each milestone, and when you want to give back to the next wave of inspiring women and non-binary entrepreneurs.
Lunch will be provided, along with introductions from the AccelerateHER and Techscaler teams, and a fireside chat with inspirational entrepreneurs from the region.
Where and when is this taking place?
AccelerateHer will take place at ONE Tech Hub, Aberdeen on Thursday 9 November, from 12pm - 2pm.
Who will be there?
This event is open to all women and non-binary folk looking to build connections and learn more about tech entrepreneurship.
Registration
We ask everyone to sign up individually, so we can have an estimate of how many people want to attend, this will allow us to prevent food waste by avoiding over-catering. Please cancel your ticket if you are no longer able to attend.
We will also check-in each person on Eventbrite as they join the event so make sure you've signed up to the event in order to attend!

What is Techscaler?
Techscaler is a Scottish Government funded programme, delivered by CodeBase, and offers tailored support for everyone in Scotland who wants to build a startup, whether they are considering a career in startups or are developing, building and scaling an idea.
