About this event

This event is for anyone looking to learn more about what Techscaler is and what it has to offer individuals and companies in Shetland.

This event aims to bring together entrepreneurs, techies, creatives, students, investors, and other regional stakeholders to network and share ideas. It is open to individuals from all sectors, from early-stage startups to established companies, as well as students, educators, employees and other business professionals looking to engage with more startup activity and looking to learn more about the type of Techscaler support available across Scotland.

When is it?

4-7pm

4pm arrival and networking, 5-6pm presentation and Q&A, 6-7pm networking and light buffet.

Please note that due to the flooring in the Main hall, any footwear that may cause damage (such has heels higher than 10mm) is strictly prohibited. We would appreciate it if you could dress accordingly.

Registration

We ask everyone to sign up individually so we can have an estimate of how many people want to attend and can make a note of your accessibility and dietary requirements. We will also check-in each person on Eventbrite as they join the event so make sure you've signed up to the event in order to attend!

What is Techscaler?

Techscaler is a Scottish Government funded programme, delivered by CodeBase, and offers tailored support for everyone in Scotland who wants to build a startup, whether they are considering a career in startups or are developing, building and scaling an idea.

We offer Community and Member access to world-class education, a peer-led online and offline community, and flexible workspaces.

Techscaler membership is for any prospective or current startup founder, startup employees, or more broadly anyone who is involved in the Scottish tech ecosystem. Membership offers tailored support depending on your goals. When someone applies to become a Techscaler member, our team can direct applicants to the most suitable Techscaler support.
