Lessons from eight years of growth at Slack

About this event

This is a stand alone taster event with Amy Wallace, one of our speakers of our upcoming Startup Next Steps course.

This event is open to everyone.

We’ll hear from Amy and her stories of fun and failure from her eight years of working for Slack, and the lessons she drew from it.

Including:

- leading a team with no previous management experience

- working remotely with a globally-distributed team

- dealing with a very fast pace of change

- how they invested in their Slack culture even as they grew so quickly

- always being at the edge of her comfort zone

Amy will also give an overview of what will be covered in the Startup Next Steps session she'll be hosting, and close the session with a reflection exercise.

About Amy Wallace

Amy Wallace is a leadership coach, facilitator, and consultant, specialising in startup and scaleup stage companies.
