What is it?
An exploration into employee ownership, hosted in-person and online by Matter of Focus, Zebras Unite & CodeBase.
What can I expect?
The ‘standard’ startup story of growth, investment and selling isn’t for everyone. There is growing interest in business for good, including a tripling of the number of B-corps in the UK- businesses assessed for their triple bottom line of people, planet and profit. Doing business differently means not taking investment from unethical sources, and not selling to larger companies that don’t meet the same standards.One way of thinking about alternative exits, is employee ownership. We are hosting this event to explore this concept further, and hear from people who have done it.
This event will include:

- Discussion and Q&A
Tea and coffee will be provided, please feel free to bring your lunch.
Where and when is this taking place?
This event will take place at CodeBase Edinburgh, 37a Castle Terrace, Edinburgh from 12.30-2pm on Wednesday 23rd August 2023.

We ask everyone to sign up individually, so we can have an estimate of how many people want to attend, this will allow us to prevent food waste by avoiding over-catering. Please cancel your ticket if you are no longer able to attend.
