What can organisations do to protect the LGBTQ+ rights of their employees?

Join CodeClan for a panel discussion around LGBTQ+ rights in the workplace. The panel is represented fully by the LGBTQ+ community.

Diversity, Inclusion and Equity in tech are topics which are gaining increasing attention.

Organisations are realising the benefits of diversity within the workplace - increased innovation, creativity, accessible designs and improved employee satisfaction to name only a few.

But what happens when events occur in the wider political global landscape that threatens the rights of a particular group?

Unfortunately, this is what is happening right now to the LGBTQ+ community. Global shifts towards far-right political agendas and rising hate crimes are a reality that are impacting lives.

In this webinar, CodeClan’s Career Coach Paul Hughes will be hosting a panel discussion with panellists Jenna Howieson, creator of The Jenna Way and Software Developer at Skyscanner, Bruno Marques, Head of Business Engagement at CodeClan and more to be announced to discuss how organisations can be allies and what organisations can do to actively protect the LGBTQ+ rights of their employees and the wider community.

Our host and panelists are part of the LGBTQ+ community, as it is important that these conversations is lead by those it affects.
